Scrapbooks used to be known as the “Common place books,” which dates back to the 17th century. People wrote poems, quotes and pasted various clippings of their interest. In today’s day and age, it has become digitalized, but many still prefer to have their scrapbook pages on real paper.
Though scrapbooking is a popular trend, people also soon find out that it takes a lot of time and requires a lot of creativity to really put one together. Those who are busy with everyday life and simply do not have the time to create stunning scrapbook pages of their own turn to premade scrapbook pages.
Buying premade scrapbook pages will save a lot of time and energy because those who create them have already spent the money on tools and equipment to create beautiful scrapbook pages. You simply pick out a design you like, order it, put your own pictures on them and call it a day!
If you’d like to create your own scrapbook pages like the professionals, you’ll want to get yourself a Cricut machine that cuts out the shapes and text you want. However, you’ll also need to buy the many “cartridges” that allow you certain designs. There are dozens of cartridges to choose from, but they can be very costly.
Some cartidges cost between $20 and $80. The Cricut machine ranges between $300 and $500. Be sure to shop around before settling in. You’ll also want to buy pre-designed pages, stock solid color pages, brads, ribbons, tools and much more so that you’ll have a huge variety of options when designing your scrapbook pages.
